Message from our CHAIR OF THE BOARD
I am humbled and honoured to be the founding Chair of the governing body for British Campus Algeria.
BCA is focused on British educational ethos and values, and on quality assurance common in the UK. The board will ensure this ethos and quality is upheld and we will be active and engaged to provide strategic direction and critical friendship to those in leadership positions at BCA.
Throughout my professional career, and over 20 years of chairing various boards I have pushed good governance to the centre stage and turned words into action. The board will always work to support our students and the strategic direction of the school and ensure BCA is outward-looking and promotes international mindedness.
We will also work with the British government, through relationships with the Department for Education and the Department for Business and Trade, to ensure BCA is a leading voice in the British Overseas Schools agenda.
Parents, your child can be a part of this global community and we look forward to showing you what an amazing adventure learning can be.

Steve Phillips is former Chair of the English UK Board. Before joining Regent, he was at Mander Portman Woodward (MPW) as Director international. He was a managing director at British Study Centres looking after transnational education and NCUK university pathways and a Director at Regent’s University London for 15 years. Steve has worked in the international education industry for over 30 years as a school owner, in private higher education, and in the not-for-profit sector. He taught, and studied, at Moscow State Linguistic University Russia in the 1990s. He is TEFLQ (Cambridge Delta) and is a Fellow at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
